Known as 'Forrest Gump Point', this iconic view is the part where Forrest Gump stops running. It has also been used in many other movies and is an unforgettable view. This particular shot proved to be very challenging as many minutes are needed to take such a large panorama due to the multi image nature of the photograph. The main issue here being that you need to be in the middle of the road to get the right angle. Sunrise is also the best time to photograph this scene as the Mitten Buttes are illuminated by the rising sun. This also has the advantage of being quieter than peak times, nevertheless, there were still many people there all competing to get the best capture.
